Bump and family shoot at Porthluney Beach, Cornwall
It was great to see this lovely family again just before Christmas for a beach maternity session. We had it at Porthluney Beach which is located on the edge of the Roseland Peninsula, near the Caerhays Estate. It's one of my favourite spots for photos at the moment, and when people are happy to travel that little bit further it's so worth it.
You can read more about Porthluney and some of my other favourites in my post, ‘Best family beaches on the Roseland.’
It was a grey day and we did get caught out by a shower, but it was fairly mild and I love the beaches in Winter. All the colours look amazing and the light is usually fantastic. We wandered down to the waters edge (the tide was low) and little Natalie had a splash about in the puddles. When it began to rain we made our way to back towards the cars to sit it out but it stopped so we took a few more photos and decided to show Natalie Caerhays Castle which is a magnificent sight from the road.
Now I can't wait to meet their new addition, due around Christmas!
If you're pregnant in Cornwall and thinking about getting some maternity photos taken, I'm always happy to make a fun family photoshoot of it and have it outdoors. We have so many gorgeous locations to choose from. It's an incredible time in your family history, and well worth capturing!
