1 week old baby Otis’s shoot in my Truro studio

Welcome to my studio in Truro where I recently had the pleasure of doing a newborn photoshoot for the adorable little Otis and his parents. This lovely and peaceful session was one that will always be cherished by the family, and I’m excited to share some of the beautiful moments captured on that day.

From the moment they stepped into the studio, Otis and his parents radiated warmth and love. They had booked a bump to baby package, and it was 2 months ago that I’d first met them for their maternity session.

It was so lovely to be greeted by the proud new parents, beaming with love and excitement at the arrival of their little one.

We began with some beautiful shots of Otis on his own, wrapped on the fluffy flokati capturing his sweet little features and delicate expressions.

As I photographed him, I could feel the love and excitement building in the room. Parents love watching their baby looking so peaceful and cute! The natural window lighting was soft and warm, adding to the peaceful feeling of the space.

Next, after a bit of a break to feed and settle Otis to sleep, we moved on to family portraits, capturing the love and connection between Otis and his parents. As they held him close, we could feel the warmth and intimacy in the room, and it was clear that this was a moment they would always treasure.

Throughout the shoot, Otis was an absolute delight to work with. He slept soundly through most of it, waking up only briefly to give me a few adorable yawns and stretches. His parents were equally wonderful, radiating love and pride for their little one throughout the entire session.

By the time the shoot was over, I had captured some truly beautiful and intimate moments between Otis and his family. As they left the studio, I could see the joy and gratitude in their eyes, and I knew that these photos would be treasured for a lifetime once they saw them.

At my studio in Truro, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for all of my clients, and this newborn photoshoot with Otis and his parents was no exception.

It was a pleasure to capture these special moments, and I feel so honoured to have been a part of this precious time in their lives.
