I’m happy you’re here! Welcome to my world of newborn, family & maternity photography in Cornwall, where no moment is too small or ordinary, no connection too insignificant and no story too unimportant. Beauty is everywhere, and my job is to see it and capture it.

I like things simple, honest, and real - no need to put pressure on anything.

The pictures we treasure most aren't the ones with the biggest smiles or the most dramatic scenery. They’re often the ones that are less than perfect, but bring back exactly what it felt like. The ones that we hold dear when the people in them have changed or gone.

The mess of family life is so precious because it’s finite. I love being in the thick of it, and will meet you wherever you are.

Why I do this

For the short time they’re all yours, and you’re their world.

13 years into parenthood, I have begun to realise how little time we actually have. Babbling chatter and tight sticky cuddles are fewer now than I’d like to admit. The truth is, I underestimated how quickly it would go. It suddenly seems to change and that’s it - they’re not little any more.

It’s bittersweet having to let go those versions of my children. I love who they are becoming but part of me will always pine for the days when they were small. It was hard, but life seemed so much simpler then.

I know this will be true for you too.

I am so glad to have some beautiful photos of their childhoods - my love language is seeing and capturing the beauty in the ordinary. It’s proof of where they began. As the world changes alongside them, these visual memoirs have so much more value than I could have imagined when I took them. I’m often surprised by how much they contain - how much beauty that I missed at the time.

Beyond motherhood

Mums tend to lose themselves in motherhood - it’s a natural consequence. But I love photographing women in all their gorgeousness, especially mums as they come out of the baby years and are having to find themselves again. It’s empowering, liberating and a reminder that you still matter as a woman, not just a mum.

Women of all ages and stages are welcome and captured with honesty and love.

Studio or outdoor photoshoots in Cornwall

Home studio

My small but equipped baby-friendly home studio is in Grampound, between Truro and St Austell. It’s a quiet, intimate space ideal for newborn, baby and maternity sessions. Somewhere to take your time, feed your baby, and relax.

on-location in Cornwall

I also offer outdoor sessions throughout Cornwall, or at home. Family sessions are usually outdoors either at sunrise or just before sunset, and this is a beautiful option for maternity sessions too.

How much does a photoshoot cost?

I charge a session fee for most of my photoshoots. This secures your slot and includes your photoshoot. The session fees begin at £65.

All bookings include information to help you know what to expect, and how to prepare - whatever you need, I’ve got you.

Images are selected and hand edited into a carefully curated gallery which is shown to you 2-3 weeks after your session. This is when you can choose your package. Print & digital sets starting at £249. PayItMonthly all-inclusive collections from £64.80 per month.

Q: Do you photograph extended families?

A: Yes I do - get in touch to find out more about supplementary charges for extended family sessions.

Q: What if my children don’t behave during our family photo shoot?

A: My process where children are involved includes steps to minimise meltdowns and to help ensure it’s a fun and relaxed experience for all. I include written prep guides with specific tips on little things that make a huge difference, and for families with children age 5 and over, a pre-session zoom chat is mandatory so that I can meet kids in advance and help them know what to expect.

Q: Where is your studio located and do you travel?

A: My home photography studio space is located in Grampound (between Truro & St Austell). I also travel throughout Cornwall for outdoor and at-home sessions.
