Home studio in Grampound

Visit my natural light studio space at my home in Grampound, near Truro in Cornwall.

It’s perfect for individuals, small families, newborn, baby and child photography sessions.

Sessions are relaxed, with a neutral set up and a simple selection of props and outfits to borrow from too.

Outdoor & on-location photoshoots in Cornwall

It’s always lovely to get outdoors for a session, and an ideal option for children and pets on the move. I am a country girl at heart and love the natural beauty of the Cornish landscape and coast.

Outdoors is suitable for any type of session - baby, child, family and maternity (even newborn), although these may be restricted by weather and best times for natural light.

Book a studio session, and if the light is right we can include some shots outdoors in the local natural setting a minutes walk from the front door.

The face behind the camera

Hey! I’m Michelle. Curious Creatures Photography started in Cornwall about 13 years ago. I wanted natural, authentic photos of me and my baby that would really capture the essence of how it felt to have him. Not just how he looked in a traditional studio, but the every day moments that were filling my heart and fading just as quickly.

There was nothing around like that at the time and I fell in love with lifestyle photography, and learning the art of photographing babies, motherhood and families naturally. I was obsessed with perfecting the mix of honesty and beauty in my work.

I have also come to value the importance of having the images we create as print, from simple fine art 4x6” prints, top quality albums to enlarged wall art frames.
