Becoming a parent is the most transformational experience of your life. The baby and childhood years are incredible - the challenges are immense, but looking back, you see just how magical it truly was.
As a mother myself, now that my own two are growing up, I feel an even deeper ache and connection to those fleeting moments. I know how quickly that chapter fades. I also know the vulnerability of finding yourself again once that intense early chapter ends.
It has become my obsession to perfect the art of creating a safe accepting space for your natural moments to unfold. I don't just take pictures, I freeze the love and connection you desperately want to hold onto. Even into the older, more awkward years.

Capturing the next chapter for mothers
After the intensity of the baby and child rearing years, mothers often find themselves standing in the space that’s left and wondering who they are (especially if it coincides with perimenopause). This chapter often brings on a few shifts which can feel disorienting and uncomfortable, but it’s also an awakening.
I’ve been photographing motherhood for 12 years, but now that I am this stage too and I love to hold space for those going through similar.
Photography can be a surprisingly powerful tool for (re)discovering parts that have been held back or kept hidden. Giving these parts some attention and expression is incredibly liberating and empowering.
All ages and stages are welcome and captured with honesty and love.

I have a natural light home studio space in Grampound near Truro, or we can meet on-location outdoors in Cornwall or at your home.

The small but equipped and baby friendly home studio is in Grampound, between Truro and St Austell.
It is a quiet, intimate space ideal for newborn, baby and maternity sessions. Somewhere to take your time, feed your baby, and relax. Located in Grampound, within easy reach of Truro.
Travel areas in Cornwall
I also offer outdoor lifestyle sessions throughout Cornwall, including the Roseland Peninsula and north and south coasts.
From sandy footed family adventures to golden hour maternity shoots to women's portraits, Cornwall has no shortage of beautiful backdrops for your photoshoot.
How much does a photoshoot cost?
Session fees begin at £65. All bookings include a custom planning consultation, access to props and client wardrobe, and a photography session with me. Images are purchased afterwards as timeless digital or heirloom artwork, with prints & digital bundles starting at £249, and All-Inclusive Collections from £64.80 per month.

Q: I am feeling self-conscious after giving birth. Should I wait to book a session?
A: Please don’t wait. Your children will never look back at these portraits and wish you looked different - they will only crave to see how you looked at them. There is no pressure, and I am skilled at posing and lighting in the most flattering way.
Q: What if my children don’t behave during our family photo shoot?
A: There is no expectation of perfection, or for anyone to have to perform. The best photos happen in the playful, unselfconscious moments (tight hugs, running around, and the real smiles that happen all the time). I love to embrace the chaos and see what happens.
Q: Where is your studio located and do you travel?
A: My warm, peaceful, baby-friendly photography studio is located in Grampound (between Truro & St Austell). I also travel throughout Cornwall for sunrise or sunset lifestyle and family sessions.
