When should maternity photos be taken?

I advise booking in your session for when you are around 34 weeks pregnant. We ideally want a nicely shaped bump, but it's important to me that you can still move (relatively) comfortably.

I don't have very many maternity dresses that I like. Can you provide outfits?

My collection of maternity dresses and outfits is there for you! I have a client wardrobe for clients who don't want to splurge on expensive outfits they'll only wear once for a photoshoot.

Can my partner and other children be in the photos too?

Of course they can! This is a momentous occasion for the whole family and if you like we can even have it outdoors. Pets are welcome too.

Do you do bump to baby packages?

I don't currently offer maternity and newborn packages but you do get money off the newborn session with my top maternity package.

Changing shape

This is the brief period time when you share your body with someone - a brand new person who will you’ll carry deep in your heart for the rest of your life. It’s not always easy, but each day takes you closer to the day you’ll meet your baby.

As your body changes shape, it symbolises the changes to the shape your life. It won’t be long before you hold your little one in your arms, and nothing will ever be the same again. This beautiful beginning will be a distant memory.

Come and spend some time connecting with your growing baby before you meet him/her - outdoors together in nature, or in the studio for something quieter and more intimate. Nothing too staged, fussy or posed, just an opportunity for some great, natural photos that capture you, and how this time feels.

As with all sessions, maternity shoots are mindfully but playfully directed to put you at ease.

There is so much involved in any session, and by the end of the experience you’ll end up with a gallery of images that you’ll fall in love with again and again.

The question is, how will these images live?

I don’t believe digital images stored on a phone or computer is the answer. I’m here to help you make sure your memories end up in print, where they can be enjoyed for years to come.

Pricing for maternity sessions works a little differently to other shoots. I offer two packages - the mini for £199 and the Full Experience for £399.
