Aari's newborn session | Cornwall
A special day
Aari arrived a few weeks early, quite unexpectedly! In fact, I’d only seen his mum a few days before when she came in for a maternity session. I sent her photos to her and she replied from the hospital!
So it was a beautiful newborn session celebrating the safe arrival of Aari, on his due date :)
I know Lisa & Mike well, after photographing their daughter’s first year in a series of sessions, so it was a natural vibe in the studio and big sister Evie was happy to be involved. It definitely helped that we’d just had the maternity session so she was used to me and happy to see my cat again!
She also got to wear the same dress from my client wardrobe as she’d had in the maternity session which was sweet too (check out their maternity shoot!).
The big moment was when she held her baby brother for the very first time. She was so proud!
Not all toddlers love their new sibling but we were very fortunate that Evie absolutely did, and it was a really lovely session. Credit to Lisa & Mike for being chilled & patient parents!!
They have booked in for another ‘Watch Me Grow’ package, so I’m looking forward to documenting the next gorgeous stage in the Summer!
