Christmas mini session for Ted

Ted came to the photography studio for a Christmas mini photoshoot in early December.  These sessions are so much fun to set up and do! I love Christmas in Cornwall, and these sessions are now a part of my tradition. It’s a lovely way to meet mums and babies who are having their first Christmas, but of course all ages are welcome!

I set up the studio, this year with a ‘Night Before Christmas Photoshoot’ theme. I used the bed with some fairy lights and other festive touches, but wanted to keep it nice and simple and neutral. I prefer to use decor that is wintery, rather than overly Christmassy. The decorations could easily be popped to one side if parents wanted their photos to have less of seasonal feel (to display all year round).

Ted loved his festive photo shoot!  He was a dream - gorgeous, happy and for a lively 18 month old he sat remarkably still!  He became absorbed in playing with a bauble I had put a bell into (nice when one of my tricks actually work!  Makes me look good, hah!!) and I love his curious, cheeky face!
