Couples photography session - Paul & Claire at Tresillian, Cornwall
These are two of the most wonderful humans to be around. Intelligent, kind, thoughtful and loving - it's easy to see how after 10 years together they still get along so well. They fit together perfectly. Not only are their goals and values in sync, they have fun together. There was so much laughter and affection between them, it is an inspiration.
They originally came to me a few years ago for the Tummy to Tot milestones package when their baby girl was born, and we've seen each other since for a catch up family shoot. So it was lovely to reconnect, this time to focus on them. As I've gotten to know them both over the years, my respect has grown and I loved hanging out with them on this gorgeous winters afternoon. We met at Tresillian just outside of Truro for a little walk along the estuary.
Not every couple decides to get married, as happy and committed as they may be. I'm not married to my partner, and Claire and Paul don't plan to marry either (at this stage). So they were really happy to get some photos capturing their connection and love for one another which is what wedding photos are for most people.
I wholeheartedly and emphatically believe that we should celebrate what's good in our lives with gorgeous images. Obviously, it's my passion, so any excuse! But you might feel the same! If photos of you and your other half together are rare, then book yourselves a couples shoot! You can go to town, getting dressed up and make a romantic date of it, or stick on your wellies and we'll go stomping through the mud. I don't mind! I'm just happy being there, with you, and my camera.
