Boho bump and baby package sessions for Toby

Beth is a yoga instructor so needless to say, she is a super chilled mum. She lives and works in my area (the Roseland Peninsula) and I do love it when locals come to me. Turns out she and her mum go to the same hairdresser as me! I don’t know why that’s newsworthy, it was just quite nice to be a part of the grapevine - usually my clients come from further afield like Camborne and Redruth, which feels like a world away from Tregony :)

We squeezed in her maternity session a couple of weeks before her due date, and it was a lovely to have a relaxed chat, try out some different looks, and get to know her a little.

She came in again with her brand new baby boy and husband, Phil, just a few weeks afterwards. Little Toby is so cute, and I loved the humorous dynamic between Beth and Phil. Toby was quite unsettled so most of the shots we got were of him with Beth as she tried to settle him. Sometimes that’s how newborn shoots go.

I kept the newborn session really natural with a lifestyle feel, and even though we didn’t get a lot of photos of Toby, I like the results.
