Boudoir Sessions, Cornwall

A boudoir photoshoot can be a wonderful, freeing experience. I believe it should be about embracing your body, and honouring the skin you’re in.

My boudoir photography sessions in Cornwall aren’t so much about objectifying a body, making it into a sexual ornament, but rather about capturing a person in a natural, unapologetic way.

I don’t try and make anyone look skinny, or airbrush out ‘imperfections’.

Sexiness is beautiful!!

We are all sensual beings, and there is something so empowering and powerful about a woman feeling comfortable with her sensuality, or exploring where those edges are.

I love clients who are attuned to their sexuality and sensuality and want to have this divine power captured. For me, the intention is what is important. It’s not about pleasing anyone else, or trying to fit into a mould. The photos I want to take are for YOU, as you honour and celebrate your own power and individuality.

I will guide and direct for natural poses that celebrate the beauty of your body, no matter what shape or size you are. I wish every woman would do this, and have photos of themselves to look at in 10 years time. You won’t believe how young and gorgeous you are now, when you look back!

I specialise in natural, flattering light and posing to make you look like you, but at your best angle.

Boudoir photography, Cornwall - setting

I have a studio in Truro which is a safe, comfortable space. It can be a plain backdrop - your space to be, captured you in many ways - surprising for such a simple setting.

Alternatively you can book a bedroom space (hotel or AirBnB) or even do it at home. I have also opened up my home for these sessions before - my bedroom used to be my studio so the light is perfect and it’s set up simply.

Should you book boudoir session?

Not only can it be incredibly confidence boosting to see yourself through the eyes of a sensitive, professional photographer and positive body-image activist, it can be quite a transformative step in your self image.

Some ladies book the shoot to give some photos to their partner, and I have brides booking their session, to gift their husband-to-be some images on the night before the wedding.

You are invited to simply be you - as exposed or as covered up as you like.

But it is incredibly fun to throw caution to the wind and play! Be the sensual, sexy, sassy, sensational goddess and surprise yourself with what lurks beneath the surface!

Shyness is totally normal - and I am very warm and non-judgemental.
