Spotlight on baby outfit for photo shoots | Miou romper
Styling for baby photo shoots - Miou romper
I am obsessed with having top quality props and outfits for my photography clients to use in their sessions in Cornwall. I want to have a collection of stuff that is really special, unique and beautiful. There is a very specific aesthetic I go for, and it often takes me months to hunt down and buy or commission what I know will be the perfect addition to the client wardrobe I’m so proud of.
Miou baby romper
This week the spotlight is on my beautiful blue baby romper from Miou. I love collecting outfits and props that are handmade, gorgeous, and support small, sustainable brands. This independent company employs women in Peru to make exquisite designer knitwear for kids, hand knitted with baby alpaca wool and organic cotton. They are really fantastic and you should definitely check them out.
It was so hard to pick what to get. I’m not kidding when I say I spent about 6 months to decide. I knew I loved their stuff but it was pricey for me (I always have taste that exceeds my budget!). I regularly drooled over their website, sometimes adding things to the basket, but then chickening out. I hunted high and low for anything that could come close for cheaper, but found nothing.
One day I decided to treat myself and ordered two beautiful rompers and bonnets (this one in the blue, and another one in a beige colour). I waited excitedly and was not disappointed when they arrived. I absolutely love them! They are classic, timeless and simply divine.
If you want to see your little one looking super cute in one of my outfits, book a baby photography session!
