Capturing Eddie's first steps during his birthday photoshoot

Baby boy’s special birthday photoshoot, and first steps captured!

It was so lovely meeting this family just before Eddie turned one! His parents booked in a baby session to celebrate.

As a parent, turning one is one of the big milestones of your baby’s life- especially when it’s your first. I remember that for me it was was a super emotional time, but mostly I felt so proud and excited - like YEAH!! We've made it - that's got to be something special!!

Especially in Eddie's case - he was born with transposition of the great arteries to his heart and has had 3 operations already!  I can't fathom what that must be like for parents, and it's awesome that he's doing so well.  I'm sure for these guys the occasion is all the more special. 

The photo shoot was super, and it was awesome capturing Eddie taking some of his first steps - he's just starting to do a few between parents and I love the joy on his face - so adorable!
