Mother and baby photo shoot - Leanne and Oliver | Cornwall

Motherhood is so full of challenges, but I love capturing the beautiful bond mums have with their little ones.  I believe that these sessions can be such a wonderful way to connect and celebrate this special connection, and the bonus is having it captured, so that you can treasure those memories as they grow. 

This mama has got three little ones under 5!  That is a tough job!  Oliver is the youngest at 11 months. 

I know Leanne from the school playground (her daughter goes to school with my eldest).  They are seriously the sweetest family!  I invited them to the studio because I knew Oliver would make a great model for my Christmas photo shoots, and I was so pleased when she said yes!  

Oliver was fantastic - he was so cute and smiley and playful, and when he became fixated with trying to get off the bed I asked Leanne if she'd like to be in some photos.  She threw on my Mama Bird t-shirt from The Bee and the Fox and hopped on the bed.  It was so lovely to see them play together.  I know how full her plate is and like everyone else, I'm sure it's rare that she gets any time to just be and play with her kids like this.  I was so glad I could capture some of these memories for her. It would have been lovely to have her two little girls there too (maybe next time).
